Man I was 15 years old when this song came out. Everyone in my neighborhood used to sing this song every time it came on the radio at the time. I mean young people, older people, blacks , white people, just everybody. Anyone reading this from Crestwood in Chesapeake, Virginia “what’s up” you definitely know what I’m talking about. This song was on the Spark of Love album. It was the first LP I ever bought. Lenny won me over at 13. Years later, I was blessed to see him live in Atlanta, GA. His voice was still as crisp and wonderful as I remembered.
