ηλιας φ: No, those are military weapons with completely different fire control systems. They are not interchangeable. New sales of those weapons to civilians have been banned sense 1986 in the USA. Interesting note: Eugene Stoner (the guy that designed the carbine) designed it for civilian use - the AR-15/AR-10 in the mid 1950s. He was approached by the military to come up with a rifle built to military standards based on the looks (ergonomics) of the AR he invented. The military M-16 did not come out until 1962.

Tip it isn't a shot gun if you look at any shotgun in far cry 5 you load red shells into it if you look at that gun you put really big rifle rounds into it
