For part of December 2018 and January 2019, I actually spent most of my time in Mumbai and also went to Rahjastan for the first time (specifically Jaipur "The Pink City") and Jaipur was quite lovely, actually found the air easier to breathe than Mumbai.

Beliefs are at the root of many problems around the world. India is an example. The caste system, the animals on the streets, the quality of transport and roads in some cities or neighborhoods. It's special as a destination. Far too many contrasts between the beautiful and the ugly. This is not a country for all travelers. The advertising campaign for India on euronews made for several months is boring because repetitive and unrepresentative. It only shows the positive and the beautiful. Nothing authentic. Much remains to be done in India. I hope for the Indians that things will change quickly in better.

Really a nice video. But you as a tourist really don't see a bit of what real India is. It's a lot more merrier than what this video shows. Lot more amazing. It's not your fault though. The tourism is just so limited for foreigners I feel. This is also because many Indians take foreigners as too big a something. The reality is a lot more.
