The verse from the Ashtavakra Gita (16.4) shared in this video is applicable only to a very advanced spiritual student who has reached that state of 'effortless bliss' in meditation. To misunderstand its import and to wrongly apply this verse in life would be suicidal to the spiritual life of any seeker. Hence, the rest of us must continue with our spiritual practices of disciplining the body, mind, and intellect until we are able to transcend them through spontaneous abidance in the bliss of the Self.

Wonderful content on the great silent sage of Arunachala. I look forward to the remaining parts of the video. I went to Ramana Ashram a few years ago and found my mind spontaneously drifting into silence near his shrine. I hope one day I get to visit the ashram again. Such a great teacher who cared for all animals and humans alike. I sometimes feel I was born a few centuries late and missed the opportunity of seeing great saints like him (and Ramakrishna, Anandamayi, Neem Baba, etc) in the flesh.

There is ultimately nothing.When the true self is known the focus on the external disappears and then one is no more with the body.Mind is movement being is still.When one is immersed in the being it’s impossible to move without the mind.It’s only when a thought is there, will movement happen.Finally it’s all a illusion there is no one or anything happening to anyone,everything is god or consciousness playing with form
