"as always, your KZbin channel is such a daily inspiration" - unfoortunately that is not so. It often pushes Sadhgru who us a clever congur with a tencaious ego. Vivekananda is a great spiritual giant, and he speaks from experience. - Arjuna J.

The world was different then. If you don't work you can't pay for your own food, etc. If you have to rely on others for those things you accumulate Karma of indebtedness. Today we can work, function in a modern society, become aware, and spread that awareness/light to others we encounter.

But what will you give to others if you haven't realised the truth yourself?

Thanks for this vid. It helped remind me that I haven't "fallen" from the path as much as I sometimes blame myself for in my self doubts. I am mainly referring to my diet. I lived on pure sattvic diet as much as possible for 8 years. I have achieved many breakthroughs in my consciousness and spiritual experiences and development, along with my devout yoga practice. Lately however, my life has gotten tremendously harder due to outside circumstances beyond my control. To adapt, I reluctantly had to stop being so strict with my diet. For ease of finding and preparing meals. Due to financial and time constraints. I still feel very strong in my spirtual progress and stature otherwise though. I don't feel any progress lost. And I suppose it's as Swami Vivekananda says according to diet. That now eating whatever I like, seems to have little to no effect otherwise. But I do get feelings of remorse and guilt every now n then because I resumed eating some animal products. And I sometimes worry about creating more "karma" by eating this way. Could anyone chime in on this further? To help alleviate some of my tensions?

Namaste just offer the food to God with sincerity and love no matter what it is but eating milk butter or Ghee is still considered satvic although animal products🙏🕉

@@sonsneezer Namaste 🙏 Thanks so much for this reply. Being that I mostly follow jnana yoga path. I often find myself in my head too much, and so sometimes I forget some of the more simpler spiritual practices. Your comment came perfect timing, as just a few days ago I resumed offering my food before partaking of it.. Your message is surely an affirmation from God to keep going like this. P.E.A.C.E. and blessings to you.

The bible says, God works through the hands of the Physician. There are scientists and healers, both varieties can be physicians, but the highest aspect of God is love.

@@YashRaj-fm8sz but like Kabir said - those that couldn’t realise God when their hair was black, will hardly realise when their hair turns grey… so it’s time to realise now whilst the intellect is strong, because once achieved, then in old age the knowledge of the self never dies.. you can realise now even in work and that is the truth - you were never separate from the truth (self - God) you just need to see it and then relax - that is mukti, peace, reality - you were never away from it for it is you! Your nature - you itself, look behind your eyes
