Regarding the clip at 13:30 -- the two rivers running side by side: This also happens on the Amazon River down in Brazil. The Rio Negro (with black water) meets up with the Rio Solimões (sandy-colored water), and they join to form the Amazon River, and run side by side without merging much for 6 km (3.7 mi). It's called the Meeting of the Waters -- Encontro das Águas.

All I can say about the "bee guy" is, TRY THAT WITH A HIVE OF YELLOW JACKETS!!!😂 Actually, don't do that because yellow jackets are uber aggressive and WILL STING because their stinger isn't barbed. Honey bees (the ones he's covered in 😳) are quite calm and only sting when completely necessary because their stinger is barbed and is pulled out of the bee's behind when they sting, meaning they die. And honey bees are becoming endangered and are very docile to begin with, hence being covered without being stung to death. Yellow jackets are known to "test sting" everything they land on. They say leave them alone and they'll leave you alone. Not a yellow jacket. They're a plentiful species and can be very dangerous if you happen to come across a nest that you are unaware of. Sadly, these are the types of wasp that can give stinging insects a bad name. Just try to remember that Bees, Honey Bees, Bumblebees etc., are extremely important to our world, especially when it comes to food and plant life. And bees aren't usually aggressive, unless really provoked so please don't kill bees. Any other stinging insects that don't pollinate can be crushed with minimal impact on the environment. Bees are INTEGRAL to our world, being pollinators and keeping our crops and flowers healthy. Kill the yellow jackets but keep in mind how important a honey bee is before you crush it (hopefully you don't!!!). Amazing little creatures!!!🙂👍🙏🙏🙏

Every town and city should have water towers to collect rainwater. With the recent droughts everywhere water towers could be the difference between saving water and not having it all together.
@MrPendell2 жыл бұрын
Um, water towers have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with collecting rainwater, or even with long term storage of water. The whole point of a water tower is to maintain a significant supply of water from whatever source is available at a position of relatively high potential kinetic energy, so supply systems can maintain adequate pressure at peak demand times. In off-peak times water is pumped back up to the tower to recharge the system. Storm water collection can be a valuable strategy to augment water supplies, but that strategy depends not on water towers, but on very large man made surfaces which can be drained into receptacles in low places (often underground tanks) during rainfall events. Given the degree of contamination introduced to rain water by even the cleanest rooftop and collection system, water collected in this manner should never be considered potable. In the modern world, rainwater collection is almost exclusively something done by individual suburban or rural homeowners, and the water collected in suburban rain barrels is typically used to irrigate gardens. Some ancient societies such as the Inca and the Nabateans did engineer entire city centre temple complexes carved out of bedrock around the collection and storage of seasonal heavy rains for use in later dry seasons, and there might be a lesson there for modern societies in some places on our planet, but there are and will continue to be, even in the face of global warming, many places on our planet where the benefits to be gained by redesigning our entire urban development models around central systems for collection, processing, and storage of rainwater would not outweigh the costs. I realize that I probably come off here as the stereotypical mansplainer, and I apologize for that and am prepared to own it. My hope is that you and others of any gender who find themselves looking at your comment come away with something slightly more closely resembling a clue regarding rainwater and municipal infrastructure than you apparently had when you started typing your well-meaning comment.
