This Easter we discovered Glarus - an incredible part of Switzerland that haven't really heard about before. We believe it's a true hidden gem and are really excited to share its beauty with you.

Hehe, they are rare indeed, especially on our side of the country! I just looked it up and Glarus is the fourth smallest canton by population, which is probably why those license plates aren't seen so often.

The views from the Chaps are wonderful. 😍Reminds me a lot of the views over Lake Brienz from Brienzer Rothorn. I know what you’ve meant by wheelchair accessible trail being accessible only because the muscle power. I learned that hard way too many times when I had to push kid’s stroller. 😂 Looks like you had awesome trip despite your injury.

Breathtaking scenery and the waterfalls are stunning! We visited Ascona,Lucerne,Zurich,Geneva,Lausanne and Lugano. Switzerland is such a beautiful country. Great video guys!👍💕😍

Hi, Since you like rambling around the countryside and into the mountain, I have a suggestion for you. I did this a very long time ago, back in the 1960's with my aunt and her friend who lived in St.Gallen. In other words at the other end of Switzerland, if you look at it from Neuchâtel. I lived with my parents in in Geneva and Paris at the time. So, go to St.Gallen (it is also worth a visit) then take the Appenzellerbahn ( a narrow gauge railway) to Gais-Appenzell-Wasserauen (about one hour). From there walk (with good equipment which you probably have) to the Seealpsee and then on to the Meglisalp. There find a cabin for the overnight stay. From the Meglisalp go to Rotsteinpass (rest there and have lunch) then climb on the Lisengrat towards the Saentis. From there you can either take the cable car (quite spectacular) down to the Schwaegalp or you can descend down to the Meglisalp again. Together is a good days walk. You can do other tours from the Meglisalp. You are fit enough and you should be able to do it. I think, depending on the weather the latest you can do this is the middle of September. Hahaha! Yeah, it's a weird sight, quite common in Switzerland though because snow stays for so long in the mountains. Also, Mike is British, apparently those guys wear shorts as soon as spring comes!🤣
