That is why its hard to have a bias in EXO. I feel you Sir Austin 😂. Agree that you need to listen to their album. To be honest, I fell in love with EXO because of their B-side, not their title tracks. EXO has the best B-side in Kpop. One iconic performance is SBS Gaeyo 2018 year end fest where they performed Tempo and Love Shot. Many idols still talk about that legendary performance to this day.

Other idols are so hyped up whenever exo performs. Did you see Red Velvet, BTS and other groups jumping when they sang Drop That? And when you watch a fancam of idols reaction to this EXO performance especially Drop That, they all dropped they're jaws after Chen's powerful highnote. Fun Fact: Other fandoms actually love EXOLs in awards shows because they're not just cheering for EXO, they also cheer for other groups and they would change the color of their lightsticks (depending on the color that represents the fandom of the group that is currently performing) That's why many fandoms love them.

You have to go back to Mama 2014. All there Mama performance are iconic. Exols really make it like an EXO concert with their attendance. EXO gets to perform usually during the end because of seniority thats why there was really something foul in Mama 2017. Mama 2016 tho is epic. My personal fave.

There's the live stages of call me baby that have their settings in a bar, it looks like parts of a movie scene :) Exo live performances definitely make you feel like you're watching a musical or something. This live MAMA's is definitely more hyped, but exo have their own concerts that will definitely make you get up and jump around, with great visuals, background/lights, and especially great music for your ears :D You said that the show felt like an exo concert, but I think wherever exo is at IS where the party happens. Their concerts and performances they give out to fans or just anyone whos listening to their music is so fulfilling. It looks fun just watching their dance and sing. They just seem to brighten up their stages wherever they are. This includes off stage and at other variety shows, etc; when they're not dancing, they seem to talk nonstop, be loud and fool around with each other, it's like hectic when all of them are together( hectic in a good way :D). I think they shine the brightest and look happiest when they're all together, not to say that their solo careers are bad because they're doing an awesome job individually/in subunits too!! I just really like them all together, they look like they are more relax when they have each others back, and their goofiness comes out more. If you feel like it, you should definitely check out their cute/sweet live performances, where they definitely interact with exol's at the concert more, show their adorable side, and basically enjoy themselves to the fullest on stage!! I personally like the peterpan, xoxo, lucky, 365 stage in seoul(exoluxion).

Then take these 13 minutes and multiply that into a 3+ hr show where they get to design the stage, lighting, rain etc and do full set lists...
