I've never seen what looks to be such effortless playing and heard it produce such power and emotion so flawlessly so perfectly, he has no "boo boos" there's never a oops or a wrong note moment. It's power precision accuracy and emotion from start to finish "always" I love what he does and how he does it. I love the inspiration, he will forever blow my mind!

Yngwie is always “on.” There are countless videos of him sitting in a chair with a guitar, during an interview or off the cuff (wherever), and he is always on. This is because he is a true guitarist, a true musician. That is probably the most overlooked aspect of his talent. The man lives, breathes, and emanates music. His incredible speed, precision, and mastery of technique does not cause his playing but accompanies his true sense of music. This, to me, is what really makes him stand out among all those in his class.

All that sound even more impressive if you add to the fact that the had a serious accident and almost lost the movement to his right hand.....
@scottstedeford7575 Жыл бұрын
@@Dreamdancer11 He had to relearn how to use his picking hand. Many compare his pre- and post-accident playing and claim that he’s lost proficiency. I’ve studied his picking technique, but I don’t see it. If anything, he developed even more efficiency since the accident. I’ve never followed Yngwie for his music; just not a big fan of the style. But as a guitarist and musician, he is virtually unsurpassed. Down to picking, no one at his level is better. None (save Paul Gilbert and Eric Johnson) use his kind of approach that combines perfect physiological positioning and movement in conjunction with the physics of string movement to produce the perfect balance between accuracy, tone, percussion, fluidity, and speed.

@@scottstedeford7575 Yep...100% agree.Most of players today whether they dig his music or not have studied his style of play and internalised several parts of it if not all....that wide perfect vibrato, those effortlessly picked(sometimes economy picked sometimes not) runs,his economy of motion,tilting and pickslanting of the pick...the man created a whole school of guitar playing and i dont think anyone can dispute that....

0:28 - 0:30 It looks like Yngwie is going to do one of his runs but hits a wrong note. then turns it into a short chromatic lick to cover the note. Not even gonna call that a mistake. Just shows how good he is and how fast he can adapt/improvise
