Yep, that will twist your arm right off. Of course you can say "don't reach into it while it's spinning". But imagine you as an employee got time pressure and a quota to fulfill. You might start reaching in a second or two before it stops completely. That goes well a thousand times until it doesn't and you have a broken wrist or shoulder. That's also exactly the reason why washing machines won't open for quite after having stopped (and can't be tricked even by disconnecting power, because it's a thermal switch that has to cool down before releasing the latch).

So, imagine how bad it would suck, getting pulled into that Profiling Roller at 2:58 ... dear god, that's a horrific contraption. I wonder what type of safety device they have on that, which would stop someone from getting pulled into that nightmarish device? Gotta be some type of a foot based safety, or maybe someone right there on the off switch.. eesh.. the things that go through my head... but that machine is what nightmares are truly made of.

On the left, you can see a blue button on a red box. A red coated steel cable is attached to it (hard to see). At 3:25 you can see the other side. If you push or pull 1 cm on it, it causes a hardware emergency stop. (the blue button is for reset) 😉

Engineers design it. Machinists cut the metal to exact sizes. Fabricators assemble and size any last parts. Operators run and fix the machines.
