Well, I’d still be a little sceptical on the price, apologies if this comes across as a little bit annoying, but that’s confusing, most IR detectors can only pick up a small amount of light, IR is commonly used as a signal transmitter because it is not commonly there, so there isn’t much interruption. Obviously, it wouldn’t get a clear image from that, (because of the dynamic range on even the best cameras only going to a threshold that can only be so low, there would be data loss because of darkness outside of the cameras dynamic range) so obviously it can’t be picking it up (correct me if I’m wrong), it must be emitting it, maybe an IR light on the front, but, this person claimed to have spent 200 dollars, there are cheap IR detecting cameras, cheap microcontrollers (for actually connecting the camera signals to a display, and cheap displays that emit the exact same blue lights with OLEDs, I doubt that a good night vision camera light that should cost that much 😬.
