Try looking at the OHTO Tasche fountain pen. Very small but does become a good-sized pen. They also did an OHTO Tasche ballpoint, which is sadly discontinued. I have one and it is my most used ballpoint pen.

$118 for an aluminum pen?! No thanks. That’s an insane price.

I have a one of the dango wallets and I changed the pen out for a the sweet little Zebra telescopic pen. That is a great little pen and much easier to deploy. My dango pen just sits in a box.

Yep, the Zebra was a glaring omission in the video.

You should check out the Kaweco Lilliput pen. It’s really small when closed and full sized when posted. You can get it in fountain or ballpoint. Also the LP-5 pen does the same thing.

Well done...in terms of mini pens, my favorites would probably be the BID dual click mini or the BID mini bolt action, but if we can safely move up a little in terms of diameter, I truly love the Pocket Pro. Although I'm generally not a big fan of the large bulb-like grip of the older BID designs and prefer the slim models, the Pocket Pro is an exception. Having a larger diameter grip section is an advantage for me with a pen that short, and I love how adjustable the Pocket Pro is - especially compared to the mini bolt, mini dual side click and mini (twist). I think I've got seven BID mini-pens - time to branch out, starting with a few of these here, so thank you!

For an affordable pen that can actually feel comfortable writing with, the Zebra F 301 is impossible to beat. I visit construction sites daily and it has never let me down. And if I lose it? You pay more in tax on most of the recommended pens here. They write. Don’t overcomplicate things.
@BeastMadeReviews10 ай бұрын
if you don't want to overcomplicate things, just buy a pen refill and stick it in your pocket. No need for a Zebra either. The point of having something useful is more than just doing the job itself. It's about a number of other things like comfort, easy of use, and works best for you.

I'm not in the US so most of these double in price once they show up at my door. It's inconvenient and costs a lot more because of border taxes. Maybe try finding some world wide options for another video idea!
@BeastMadeReviews2 жыл бұрын
All the pens I choose are ones that I think are easily accessible. It's impossible for me to make a video considering every country in the world. Even if I choose pens in other countries (which I have in other videos), that would still not guarantee that the price would be universal.

Cool series! Does Oliver Sha ever restock? The move pen looks perfect for what I need, I like how it's got a big eye for a niteize Sbiner, so I don't have to use the flimsy little split rings. But it looks like I might have to go elsewhere because I can't find it anywhere.

How can you not mention the Kaweco Lilliput? Good price, lots of different metals and finishes, ballpoint and fountain options(If you have 2, they can be interchangeable) and finally, the writing experience is superb as it can be capped, giving you a beautiful full size pen. 😔😪 not so much of a pen guy.

You missed a bunch of tiny pens! Also not a fan of Fisher refills. The bullet pen is terrible! I have to admit that I don't want any of the pens on this list, although I own 2 of them. These pens range from useless, to overpriced, to unusable, to junk.
@BeastMadeReviews4 ай бұрын
It wasn't meant to be an exhaustive list. But I think all of these pens are great in their ways. None of them are bad, by any stretch.
@googleuser66354 ай бұрын
@@BeastMadeReviews Um, many of them are bad. The pens on the list are from popular vendors, but not worth owning. They are expensive eye candy, but not for EDC. Most of them have fatal flaws. Generally, I have been unable to find any product worth having that is offered by most of those vendors--even if that product was given to you. If I had to pay, it would not be hard to find a more useful product. Not to take away from some of those vendors. The visual and light-weight aspects of their design and implementation are good. It's just that their products lack usefullness, rendering them junk. Their products are fine for sitting in a drawer or on a shelf. For those people who want to waste their money on such things, go for it. The list is more agenda-based than function-based. Dango is generally sub-par. The design of this pen makes me wonder if they have ever used a pen Grafton makes pens that come apart. The anodization quickly wears off. It's a lousy EDC oen. Their refills are junk. The slughouse is a miss on quality. Not worth mentioning. Terrible design. The inkbiner?? Really. Throw that in the garbage. You cannot "refill on the fly". The move pen. Useless junk. Uses one of the worst refills. Just making a terrible product worse. Big Idea Design has nothing worth having. Their products just aren't designed for actual use. The Shoen Design is just too flimsy for EDC. The ink dries out rapidly. Certainly not EDC. It takes WAY too much effort to deploy. The wooden pen is clearly at best a drawer pen. The clip is poorly designed. Throw that piece of junk back into the bog. Tactile Turn? What a terrible design! People click away on those things. It's obnoxious, and the reason I have prohibited bolt-action pens at the office. Anyone caught with one has the option of quitting or destroying the pen. Watching them be shredded is satisfying. You get the idea. A person would be better off just writing with the bare refill. The only genius is getting people to waste their money on these products, but some people keep pushing them.
