Definitely the best version. He puts his heart and soul into it. You have to admire that even if you don't like the song.

This was recorded for the first A Very Special Christmas album, 1987, recorded by various artists and proceeds went to Special Olympics ~ Bob asked if anyone else was doing this one and was told no, and he said can we do it ~ He chose it because he literally was a poor boy too when his dad abandoned the family when Bob was around 10 ~ Bob really did feel it and sing with passion......

Thanks Harri, Was beginning to think you weren't gonna listen to it. Do yourself a favor watch Bob sing it. He puts everything into it. I've seen Bob 10 times he is amazing live. His full concert from his last tour is on KZbin. Bob is in his 70's but every song is great. You should check it out. I've been a fan for 40 years.

I am a huge Bob Seger fan. I remember when he released this version of one of my all time favorite Christmas songs. I thought it was the best version ever. BUT, then a few years ago I heard the version by For King and Country! That version will blow your mind! Check it out, the live version. The drums are amazing. 😊 Great reaction. Thanks for doing this one. It was great to hear it again. ❤️

Bob Seger is the Rock & Roll King of the Rust Belt, he is the voice of "every-man"... You already reviewed "Beautiful Loser" (gets me every time). Now one of his more under-APPRECIATED (not underrated) songs to keep in mind for your next review of him is "Feel Like A Number". It kind of upsets me that KZbin never notified me of this review. In fact, I found it looking back to find your Jeff Buckley cover of Hallelujah. Either way, Merry Christmas/Boxing Day/New Years to you and your family. Here is to another year of great reviews Harri!!!
