Hey man !!!!! Amazing video !!!! I was actually facing a problem, i bought a m audio interface and it works properly and also have Gojira Plugin. I have installed m audio drivers and they work fine. I use Traction as you teach the best on how to use it and work with it effeciently. And when i connect it with my laptop and go to asio and select my interface, it still works. But now when i load up a plugin like Gojira, i am not able hear the sound through the plugin..my inputs are connect and mainly 2nd input channel is for guitar only. I am able to get to get the raw sound when we plug our guitar through our interface but when i load up the plugin no sound comes through it when i play it. My input channel is right but still now sound. Only that raw sound....Any ideas why it might be happening ??? It would be appreciated man !!!! And thank you again for this video !!!! It was amazing mate !!!!!!

I bought this collection but found that the Teletronix LA2A collection was the ‘trial/demo’ version. Have you any advice to share on this please?

If you bought the collection then you should have the full version. Make sure you activated it in the UA Connect software and also connected your ilok to your UA account. If all of that is already done then contact UA or Plugin Boutique and let them know what’s going on.

To use these plugins you will need either a desktop or laptop computer that is either Mac or windows based. You will then need digital audio workstation software that allows you to add plugins. A good free option is Tracktion Waveform Free. For recording vocals you will need a microphone of some sort. It could be a USB mic, or a XLR mic. If you go with a XLR mic then you will need an audio interface that has at least one microphone preamp plus you will also need a XLR cable to connect the mic to it.

@@sonarradioshow I've never tried a SPL interface. The only one I can think of is the Crimson and the mic pres have 60db of gain which would be the bare minimum for a SM7B. For a more budget option you could go with a Focusrite 2i2 4th gen it has 69db of gain. The Antelope Audio Zen Go is an excellent interface that has 65db of gain. Also have a look at the Universal Audio Apollo interfaces if you're looking for higher end stuff. There are so many options out there. I'm not sure what you mean about an audio interface being overkill for the plugins as hardware and software are two different things. Or maybe you think UAD plugins are lower quality. If that's the case then grab whatever plugins you think are higher quality.

I believe that you get access to all of their plugins with the purchase of the interface, of course, most of their interfaces are spendy but all of the plugins are processed in the interface saving you CPU.

With their Volt interfaces, I think you only get UAD plugins if it's a promo where they include 1 or 2 but you do get a small bundle of decent third party plugins. With their Apollo interfaces you get quite a few UAD plugins but not all of them. The Apollo interfaces have the onboard plugin processing which is very nice. Some of the Volts have built in 1176 style compressors but I think you can only track through them and not use them like a plugin. Still pretty cool for a small, semi-affordable, interface.

Yes. I actually just bought the 2 plugin bundle 2 days ago and I don’t own any UAD gear. You want to make sure the plugins that you select are “Native”. Some plugins are “Apollo” only at the moment and those ones need UAD gear.

They mean that these are the basic plugins for mixing. Referring more to the fact that you get EQ, compressor, reverb, delay, and saturation. Plus you also have the channel strip, and a cool instrument plugin. These are the basics of all mixes. Not that you need these actual plugins but you need eq, compression, reverb, delay and saturation for pretty much every mix.

You’d be surprised. The folks out there who can afford anything, if they for some reason really need a plug-in will buy them at full price, they have the luxury to not have to wait for a sale. These are the top 20% though

@@drvoodoo3073 There are Developers that never have a Sale, Others that have some kind of intro Sale and-or some "20% off" once a year which ist relatively normal. I am not talking about that though. I am talking about absurd pricing only to be making sales a little later. Like plugin alliance. I am not saying no one can afford them when they have their initial absolutely absurd prices but rather that I cannot take this policy seriously cause everybody knows that the 350 plugin will cost 30 later. Undermining their own value. It's like saying "You can hire me. I charge 50 dollars an hour for my work" only for you to say "But some times in a year I work for 4 dollars an hour". Same goes for major players like UA, Izotope etc . Why they start do these constant Sales I wonder. I guess because the top20% is not enough to carry them. But also when you do this kind of sales it does not show that much respect to the "top 20%" cause this way you immediately are taking the Value of what you sold them Initially, down to a 5-10% of what they paid.
