It’s $19 extra for the metal bracket. Do you think this is what you were sent by Aocci? It might be worth trying to find out and clarifying for your viewers because there’s an additional cost if that is the case. At the moment I don’t know whether to stick with the plastic bracket or pay the extra $19 for what I think you’ve been sent. Cheers.

I bought one. I have fitted it to my Triumph Trident660, replacing my iPhone on a QuadLock vibration dampener/wireless charging head. I used the 12v lead supplied. I spliced the positive lead (red) into the cable powering the onboard USB socket (white), rather than going into the bike’s loom in search of a switched live. Negative lead went to battery negative. Because I want to keep the iPhone charged while I ride I added a Rockbros frame bag and ran a Lightning cable from the USB socket into the bag. After 130miles riding I can confirm that it works well.

I did some research, and it seems like the C5 Pro and C6 Pro come with a camera and tire pressure monitoring, which makes them a bit pricier. Using the 22% discount code TMF22, the prices are: C3: $92.82 (~£72) C5 Pro: $155.99 (~£122) C6 Pro: $170.82 (~£134) I think I’ll start by testing the C3 since it’s affordable and low-risk at just £72. Excited to see how it performs!

I got the C6pro on Lamb Chops discount code and it's outstanding value for money. Sony sensor 1080p cameras. Handy using the rear cam as a rear view mirror. The only issue I have is the GPS speed is locked in km/h and the tyre pressures in psi are just converted from bar so they can jump by 2 psi because of decimal rounding. The best thing is it gets my expensive phone off my handle bars. Love it. If you want the dash cams and tpms just go for it. You won't be disappointed.

About 30-35% on top of your normal premium. It's based on winter months being historically more harsh and therefore higher risk. The winters of late havnt been particularly cold and sometimes even mildish, which with heated seat and gloves would be fine for a ride out. My Tiger 800 costs me about £400 for a year bearing in mind that the bike cost 20 grand new due to 180% import tax and 25% vat so they ain't cheap here

Just to other purchasers if thinking of buying for Christmas, the shipping time is 6-10 days (not TMF's fault) - I ordered mine on the 21/11/2024 and am still awaiting for it to be delivered to my home address on 29/11/2024, with the last tracking update saying it had arrived in the GB via international flight on 26/11/2024. EDIT: Delivery update, has arrived today, 02/12/2024. Had a quick squint inside the box only, as it is a Christmas present (for myself), so have had to surrender it to the missus to wrap and place under the tree. Morning Andy, Good to know this is the only Aoochi model that I can see with USB charging functionality. I have emailed them to see if they intend to have USB charging on the others like the C6 & C9. Also if they might do a direct to BMW nav mount like Carpuride & Chigee. Will let you know their reply.👍 Having emailed them they confirmed the C6 comes with USB connection but it's not recommended to use as it can give variable supply causing the unit to reset itself. I guess this down to the extra draw from the camera which the C3 does not have.

Had one for a few months now, here in Australia, works great and the best thing is you can move it from bike to bike,just need usb power. Simple usb socket from eBay wire up to battery and you’re good to go.

Bought a cheap version (£34) from that well known online retailer of Chinese tech. Toured Europe using it. It did occasionally 'drop out' whilst using it, though that may have been my phone to blame. On the whole, a useful and cheap navigation aid.

Doesn't need a vibration mount as it doesn't have a camera to damage like your phone has, and it won't switch off if your phone dies but you'll lose carplay.

You can remove it but you need to use a special tool (which they provide with the device) so it is a bit of a faff....not a "Quick Release" device....

What an excellent unit, and what a price. Unfortunately, my Christmas and New Years present was a new furnace and water heater. As we're getting 2-3 feet of snow in the next 5 days. I guess this was a better no brainer for me. Lol. 👍👍

Morning Andy, as far as I’m concerned it’s a case of C3? P.O.! (See what I did there?😋) I already have a quad lock anti vibration mount so I can just use my phone directly for navigation. As for playing music through headphones on the bike, personally I think it’s distracting and removes part of the motorcycling experience. I also have a Beeline unit I can use on either my Honda Dax or Kawasaki Eliminator. Each to their own though and some people will obviously feel differently about it. My Christmas present is a Goldtop Submariners merino wool sweater in Ecru in their Black Friday sale down from £120 to £102. Gorgeous, heavy weight, warm and beautifully made will keep me warm on and off the bike.😁

Good value for money. I bought the Chigee which is a lot more expensive, albeit it does have cameras and (at additional cost) tyre pressure sensors. This should be pretty popular. Carplay linked up to a Cardo is brilliant.

Yes - you don’t destroy your phone camera like my quad lock did mine!!

Looks good. I got an autonevee unit from ali Express with tpms and front and rear cameras for £92 odd. For me, the simplicity of use is great. Has everything i want and need and replaced my standalone camera system (which also had tpms), which cost me over £100 more than my android auto unit. The only thing i would like is a separate remote for changing the camera views and locking files, but i can live without that. Had it on around 4 months now and not had any issues with it. Will be buying another one for my other bike and more for any other bikes i get.

I bought a Chigee Aio-5 for Bmw. Once I had it I realised that I didn't need it. I don't use itunes as i prefer to buy my music, not rent access to it. (I can load as many songs, podcasts etc on the sim card in my Nav 5) I dont use Waze or Calimoto as again its subscription, and my Nav5 works perfectly well from satellites not google maps via a phone connection. It also means that when I'm with friends, we all get the same route on the standard fitted Nav 5, rather than conflicting directions. I never use the phone connection to recieve calls as I've never known a call be important enough that I can't ring back when I stop for a break.. I have never had much luck with Siri understanding what I'm saying and then dialing a random number from my phone book! So I sold it for more than I paid for it (because I had 20% off when I bought it) I'm now waiting to be called a Dinosaur or a ludite for not embracing modern tech. 🤣

There is a reason why full specs are not listed on the website like resolution or brightness of the screen, probably they are simply basic. The brighness of the screen on the recording done by TMF looked pretty dim...
