All that I will say is that when get to certain levels of subscriptions that KZbin seems to unsubscribe people for whatever reason. Hi Greeno, that meal was incredibly good value for money. It's been ages since I've been to a steakhouse & your review makes me want to go sooner rather than later! I like it too when particularly good service staff are called out because it can be a difficult & stressful job. The Gary style gilet & jog at the start was funny. I have seen some comments here & there about copying Gary's channel, but your channel has been around for longer than Gary's, from what I can see. You both seem to have a similar style now in how you review, but both of your channels have content that is really enjoyable & to be honest, my favourite review of Gary's in the last month or so was the collaboration you both did at the curry house. Hi Greeno, your friendly master butcher here. Well done you for picking the Rump steak! A vastly underrated cut, you got a lovely thick cut which was superbly cooked, i always suggest Rump to customers in my shop who are looking for a good steak but are on a budget. If its been well hung and cut thick like yours, then its really hard to beat for texture & flavour. Glad you enjoyed yours! We only go to miller & carters for special occasions as my two adult boys can scoff steak for Scotland and the bill soon racks up with them in tow, never had a bad meal there and service is always impeccable! I was so impressed when I saw the steak - normally when you see a rump it is what I would call "supermarket cut" - big surface area, not that thick and with a thick layer of fat along one side. Which again is OK if cooked well. But this was beutiful, and I am glad I went with the medium cook as recommended, as it suited the steak perfectly.

I used to work on one of the estates over their, and we had our Christmas bash several years in a row in there. I used to have the occasional meal there as well, but the menu was different then. I've not been their since they had the fire and it was re-furbished! (I retired around the same time, and no it wasn't me) But it maybe worth a re-visit, it did look good and that lunch menu did look fairly priced compared to other places!

😂loved the video! The main thing you have in common with Gary is that you both dislike Mushrooms! Nice to see you have moved 'up market' from Wimpy and Toby's Carvery! In 2024 £20 for a 3 course meal is 'ok' all the food looked really nice, almost perfect quality.My only criticism would be that portions were not too large, but then that helps your waistline😅 I reckon the Steak looked perfect for me and a pretty nice portion of apple pie. Add on great service and class and obviously Miller & Carter is a good place for a quality lunch well done! Glad you "Gave it a Go"😅

Guessing the onion loaf is a version of the Tony Roma’s “ world famous “ onion loaf - also seen in the Outback restaurants ‘bloomim onion ‘. - sadly neither of which have any UK restaurants. But if it was a good copy you would have probably said it was the best thing in the entire meal! Must try it. But an excellent review of an excellent meal at an excellent price. Perfect thanks.

Hi Greeno, when compared to your recent review of a Wimpey Bar, it made Miller & Carter, look even more impressive. I have visited Miller & Carter and like you, was impressed with the overall looks, service and standard. The one we went to was in or near Bexley, in Kent, not too far from my home in London. The bar and restaurant, were extremely comfortable and as you suggested, the service was excellent. Miller & Carter, obviously train their staff well and are to be complimented on that, makes you wonder why everyone doesn't follow suit. Glad you and Mrs. Greeno, enjoyed yourselves, a bit of a result really.

We went to the miller and Carter in Guildford, the food was exceptional and the professional and friendly service from the staff was excellent, I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely brilliant opening. I was crying with laughter. Great meal for the cost. Fantastic value for that quality. Glad you brought up the issue of cinnamon in apple desserts. Although I love the US and the food there, I'm not a fan of following their lead of putting cinnamon in everything including gum and cereal too. Keep it up Greeno.

I find them pretty good overall for a mid-range chain. I've been to one in Birmingham (NEC), Manchester and South-West London and the food can be a bit variable, but generally the steaks are good.

Hi Greeno and Mrs Greeno I wont lie i replayed your clip to confirm you got 3 courses for £19-75p. MILLER & CARTER are not a back street eatery, they do very good quality food, and how they do a three course meal at this price i have no idea. All your food looked amazing, and as you had three courses, i thought the portions more than fair. I think as you, the coldness of certain items may of been due to the filming, but a hot plate is always a must in my opinion. Chris.

The Mountbatten. Have always avoided here as not a huge steak fan and I've heard it's expensive. Looking at the main menu it's not cheap. But what you had and looking at the lunch menu does indeed look like fantastic value. Really want to go there for lunch thanks to your review. The Grasshopper in Parkstone charges £18.50 for burger and chips and nearly £7 a pint - didn't know we were now in London! Thanks for you and Gary's vids. Don't know how I fell into the trap of watching middle aged blokes eating food, but like many others we appreciate your ratings more than things like trip advisor and Google reviews, cheers

The lunch was really great value - sounds maybe not so much at the Grasshopper!! Glad you enjoy the content - it does sound mad that content like mine and Gary's can be compelling to people, but I am glad it is!!

@@GreenoEats I think I got into your vids from you doing too good to go bags and I'm from Dorset so was interesting seeing local places. Both you and Gary seem like affable guys and are good in front of camera - and a little Partridge like! And apart from Only fools and Curb is my favourite comedy character. I'd like to recommend skate fish and chips lunchtime special, Ringwood road which is just £5 and I think fantastic value. Another very good lunch deal is Cameron's in Ashley cross who do bogof on burgers on a Wednesday and they are delicious. Keep up the good work

Good Evening Greeno and Mrs Greeno. Thoroughly Enjoyed this really Good Food review of this Beautiful Establishment. What a very Generous and thought out Menu i saw. Some very Tasty dishes to choose from i thought. The Calamari Starter looked absolutely Perfect and Your Chicken portion's looked really Delicious for your Starter Greeno. Your Main courses were cooked to Absolute Perfection. Excellent Steak and a Generous portion of Chips with a Lovely Bernaise Sauce to go with Your Steak Greeno, The Grilled Portion of Chicken with New Potato's and Veg looked really Good Quality i must say. You chose the Perfect Deserts to finish off Your Delicious meal. Customer Service i would have guessed, it was just the Best from your Server Chris. Very Good Value for Your Money. I would Love to go and have a meal at this Gorgeous Establishment. Thank you very much for sharing your video Greeno and Mrs Greeno. Glad you both had a Lovely time together. Jonathan/ Peterborough.
