Great video! I am looking into dispersed camping options in GTNP as well , everything looks booked up for summer 2021. But any tips on what time of day might have a greater chance of finding open sites? Early early morning? late morning? Afternoon? Etc..

Hey Elvis! The first come/first served dispersed sites like the ones at Shadow Mountain are a gamble because you can't reserve them, but you can give yourself a better chance at snagging one by going on a weekday, showing up early, and being flexible! Good luck!

Just wondering, does it ever feel silly to put the camera somewhere, back away from it & then walk towards it again? Just wondering the perspective of recording it 😂

Pretty much everything about making KZbin videos feels silly. Haha. I’m either doing twice the work by backtracking to pickup the camera, or looking crazy by walking around talking to the camera like it’s a buddy of mine 😂
