Cat Adopts Orphaned Tiger Cubs. 3 Years Later, She Reunites With Them & The Unthinkable Happens!

When a zoo cat unexpectedly loses her entire litter of kittens, she is heartbroken and inconsolable. But then, another feline mother lives the opposite experience - she gives birth to healthy kittens, and rejects them. The zookeepers worry about the tiny cats. Without their mother and no one else to raise them, they will lack several skills they will need as adults. But then, the first cat adopts the orphaned kittens… even if they’re actually tigers. I do have a true story! My neighbors had gone on vacation, and while they were gone, ❤❤they were notified that their electricity had been cut off. They had a cat who had a litter of kittens. I was asked to check on them as it was late in the summer in Texas. The mama cat was dehydrated and had lost her milk. I brought the kittens to my house and called a vet. While I was on the phone with the vet my dog who had a litter of her own started taking a kitten off the chair I had placed them.I was concerned she would hurt them to protect her pups but the vet told me to not interfere and watch what she was doing. She took them to a safe place and began to nurse them. She never let them nurse together, but she successfully nursed and weaned both litters! A mother's heart will always persevere! ❤

Amazing story of love and devotion by the zoo’s mascot cat, for the orphaned Siberian Tiger cubs, and the reciprocation for her nurturing and kindness, years later. I think the emotional responses that animals display, whether wild or domestic, goes way beyond what we give them due credit for. This is just one proof of how deep the love between mother and young , often is. I keep trying to explain to my bf how special black cats r. But he doesn't believe me. I've seen what they cn do for myself. Any house cat might do this. I've had siamese n calicos take over litters of other moms. I used to breed siamese, Russian blues, Himalayas n Bombays. So I've had a lot of litters. N sometimes a mom might abandon or die or start unintentionally becoming a danger to a litter trying to protect them. I had one cat kill her whole litter trying to shove them under a closed door to try to protectively hide them. Sometimes their motherly instincts cn b dangerous for the kittens n need separated temporarily until kittens r big enough for such behavior to not hurt them. The moms still love their babies n jus don't know better. So I never fully separated them. Jus enough to know they were safe. I'd still let the mom near them, supervised, until big enough to give back to mom fully

What’s important in this true story isn’t the color of the cat or what kind she is , the lesson for me was , love never fails !! The motherly love and compassion this cat displayed towards these cubs is what true motherhood is all about, the love these cubs gave back to her is what matters and what the lesson / story is all about . Interspecies raising of cubs/young do happen occasionally both in captivity and sometimes (but rarely) in nature, however I think channels like this are cruel for their scams about fake emotional animal stories.

I would have found this video quite a bit more credible if there were some actual photos of Sasha, the black cat and the 2 tigers she supposedly raised standing side by side when the the tigers had grown significantly larger than their surrogate mother. We once had a mother cat and her kitten. They grew up together. When the mother was about 10 years old, and the kitten 9 years old. The mother cat wandered away and got lost. We found her a few weeks later and brought her home. Well, her son didn't remember her and was afraid of her. It took them a few days to get to know each other again. Nice story, but it's full of holes. For starters, tigers don't purr. Cats that roar can't purr and cats that purr can't roar. Their vocal organs are designed differently. The only big cat that purrs is the puma, and of course, it doesn't roar. It does, however have have a blood-curdling scream, which it generally uses to attract a mate.
