Great project. I would advise against using sandpaper to sharpen knives. I only strop my knives. However this is a great video. Thanks for sharing

I’m working on my first wood project which is a cactus. I bought a starter kit of knives thinking it was all I needed. Now as I look at projects I’m seeing I need way more than I thought. I dont have v tools or gouges or any kind of saw. No finishing wax, no sharpening block. There’s way more to it than I was led to believe when I bought my starter kit. But I can’t get all that other stuff it’s too much money and I already spent more than I wanted to with my starter kit and wood and gloves. It sucks bc poor people probably need hobbies more than financially stable ppl because we are not going out doing things & spending money every day. But I don’t know if there exist a free or cheap hobby. So if anyone has an extra v-tool lying around that they don’t use, send it my way.
