I'm going to be 80 years old this year and when I was growing up we had straws that would flavor the milk so that isn't a new thing they just haven't been available for many years I guess. Still enjoy watching your reactions. I couldn't stop laughing when you bit into that wine truffle. I thought for a minute you were going to choke. I stopped laughing until you got your breath back then went back to laughing.

I was born in 92 and I remember having those kinds of straws growing up! Some would come as a wafer straw while others would come in a plastic tube with white and milk chocolate ball inside. :)

Whoa...a treasure trove of chocolates from Peter! I'm getting a sugar high just watching you try them! 🤣I don't know if I've ever had Austrian chocolate, so this is very interesting to me. When you say it's super smooth and, generally, not too sweet, I know I'd love it. Thank you to Peter, and thank you, Shinichi and Satoshi, for your expressive reviews. 🤎🤎

Lingonberry is super popular in Scandinavia, but it’s most like the American cranberry is its flavor profile. Most IKEA stores have a lingonberry drink at their soft drink fountain. You used to be able to buy the lingonberry syrup at IKEA, although sometimes you can still find it.

Austria is so famous for their sweet stuff. That's why they are our (Bavarian) favourite neighbours even it's not Germany😂. When you visit Austria, don't only visit Vienna. It's more in the flat area of Austria but the south from Salzburg to the Vorarlberg is so awesome too. The alps, awesome food and landscapes, the beautiful middle of Europe. And the Salzburger Nockerl (a very sweet cake made from the egg white baked in three "hills" showing the three house mountains of Salzburg is awesome too. There's a Ferris wheel on a few products because Wien (Vienna) has a very famous area like a amusement park, called the "Prater", they also have songs about the Prater. And there's a Ferris wheel. It's not only a Ferris wheel, it's a very special one because it doesn't have ordinary cabins. The cabins are train wagons and that's very special. I do not only love food from our Austrian neighbours, I also love Japanese candy and Japanese chocolate remains me of kokoa. For my taste it tastes a bit more like kokoa as European chocolate. Is that possible?

I typically buy my chocolate from Aldi, because it’s German and Austrian chocolate. I don’t like American chocolates….they seem waxy to me. Though in Pennsylvania we have a large German culture and there are a few local chocolatiers that make some fantastic candy…like Gertrude Hawk. Yummy! 😋 🤤 🥰😊

Awesome! I can watch your video while having breakfast myself... 😁👍🏻 Being German I unfortunately don't really know that much about classic Austrian treats. Of course we have Manner wafers and Sacher type cake. The tea "brand" Spar is actually the name of a retailer group founded in The Netherlands. So the tea seems to be their house brand. And you should take a look into Jokolade. It has been founded by German Showmaster and Entertainer Joko Winterscheid in order to provide the fairest possible produced chocolate possible. A great cause worth supporting, I think. Have a great day, guys! Andi

Thanks for the information on the Jokolade! I'm also German but I've never seen the chocolate anywhere or even heard about this project. So cool. :)

When you visite Austria please don’t eat the original Sacher cake at hotel Sacher it’s really dry and only for tourists. I don’t know nobody who liked it. Go to Konditorei Oberlaa and eat it there and definetly try their mango chocolate cake or go to café Demel and eat a Sacher cake there..
