INCREDIBLY Huge(and LONG), RBM Bannerlord Battle(with historical commentary), with over 8,000 Troops

Welcome back future Khans, Emperors, Jarls and Sultans of Calradia! We're continuing to show our late-game campaign including huge battles, and winning(most) of these battles by deploying advanced tactics to overcome superior enemy forces. Our entire channel is dedicated to helping players improve their field command and if that's your desire, or just want to see huge, dramatic battles, you've come to the right place.
Shortly after our recovery against the Hordes of enemies near Epicrotea, a huge ZERG of enemy troops sieges and assaults the land near Ataconia castle, and another massive, epic battle ensues. I used the dynamic RBM mod in this episode and given the incredible length of the episode, I venture into my historical philosophy about the US Civil war. Tactics, History, Beheading, etc. are all included!

My campaign is an extremely late-game campaign where I am resolved to give no peace to these scum Kingdoms attacking me - seven of the eight have been at war for years, with only Sturgia at a neutral stance. My family of warriors is now large though and with what remaining strength and valor we can must, we stand against the map of Calradia.

For my main, death-match campaign, I only use four mods:
Lord Retinue Uptier(Makes the enemy forces stronger, much less peasants and lower ranked troops)

Improved AI Troops(Also makes enemy lords and their armies tougher by giving them a higher daily xp rate. This means you'll routinely face armies with HUGE numbers of the highest tier units, sometimes four or five times the normal amount in vanilla Bannerlord): www.nexusmods....
Death for all: This mod allows you to set the rate at which nobles die more often. I want both a harder challenging late-game but also a more realistic game. If you're cut down with a massive aserai two-handed axe, you shouldn't just be injured 99.9% of the time. It's a very customizable mod so you can just a little more death or set the death rate so high you get several deaths every battle. The number I often like is '10', some deaths but not a massacre of nobles...

I also use the Dismemberment Plus Mod: It's highly customizable and works seamlessly with the new beta(and versions back to 1.28). I thoroughly recommend it if you enjoy carnage!:

I've also used Realistic Battle Mod in the past and highly recommend it for Ai and battle realism BUT I find the pace too slow for my taste and the AI is actually rather predictable after a half dozen battles. Still I wanted to put a plug in for it here, it's a GREAT mod and highly configurable. www.nexusmods....

I do not agree with your take on the civil war, its cause and its aftermath. But damn do I respect you for saying what you think. I will never understand why people prefer unemotional discourse when it is obvious that someone who hides their feelings can never be trusted. You do not hide, sir, and may that never change. As a result of your views I find myself raking over long dead civil war coals to firm up on my own views. It is a particular war history I love and learned about as a child from TV documentaries. It is a love that has endured to this day. Thankfully my civil war sources are constantly expanding since their is so much to read.

I really LIKE RBM but I am aware it changes things drastically and a lot of players both can't use it or won't use it. Hence I will mix in some episodes featuring it but most battles and the campaign I am going to run in vanilla.

As a Canadian the War of 1812 was very important for both the United States and Canada. As for the United States like you said it showed that the States were stronger together than separately as for Canada it created the desire to create a country with it's own identity separate from mother Britain which was started in 1867 completed in the 1930's. Both countries are close not only because of our location and need to cooperate but because of shared blood and history.

No question and in many ways Canadians are closer to the culture of the US but as you know it's also a somewhat divided country, with significant portions still speaking French, while the area near me, B.C. You are playing with the unit overhaul off, which is weird combination when the combat module is on. We designed the combat module together with the unit overhaul, results might be very imbalanced when the unit overhaul is off, like archers shooting wrong bows and arrows, recruits being total garbage (they do much better with overhaul because they have shields and spears, etc). Unit overhaul off option is mainly for people that play with some other unit overhaul and they dont want RBM units to slash with it. Our unit overhaul is ofcourse compatible with vanilla since we are using same IDs, so it is not going to corrupt your save or something.

I will for sure try this the next time I am going to have an RBM-spree. I appreciate the time you guys put into the mod and for the record, I love the mod, but I often record with vanilla because I know so many players cannot use RBM(console mostly).

I just like to watch other people play RBM to get a different perspective, to understand whether our design works correctly when someone else plays the game etc. BTW: RTS camera definitelly works for me with RBM, I am using the version from Steam (for 1.2.10) and I am loading it after RBM.

I’ve been giving cav the 30% against mounted troops flags because with RBM AI they seem to always intercept cavalry trying to get to my archers

btw how did that happen? the forces of enemy to have 6278? in my game i only see 1500 troop to 2 k. do you have mods that made them that way?

I don't anymore but long ago I use the mod that did alter some enemy Lords and make them stronger. Also it's an extremely late game campaign so the enemy kingdoms are highly mature, have virtually unlimited money huge Garrison's and many lords and their offspring. It's not uncommon for me to see 5,000 on the battlefield. If you want to just kind of a campaign you would need to be very patient and either intentionally stall or be in some lucky scenario where two decades passed and your campaign was still ongoing ...

Just downloaded RBM and I regret the couple hundred hours I played this game without mods -- mostly getting infuriated that I could be that tankiest of knights, wearing all the best armor in the game and every single peasant farmer would be able to reliably stab me in the face stopping me and my horse while I try to charge him down from in front of me with a friggin' pitchfork. Or a dozen of them could randomly take you down just by throwing rocks, since no matter what, every hit is gonna deal 6+ damage, so if you get hit 20 times, no matter how weak the blow is, no matter your armor, you're done for. Man, how many times I raged at how much crappier the battles seemed than original M&B, Warband, etc...

LOL, I know that feeling for sure. RBM helps and in some ways, makes your own character almost indestructable. I LOVE RBM but can't use it consistently because I know a lot of the audience either doesn't or can't use it...

@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions I wonder if this mod fixes another problem I haven't yet heard addressed: I can have cavalry at full charge pretty much sneak up on me in this game, because movements are so much quieter than the previous games. And ofc on foot it's infinitely worse. Especially if I want to start out a new game, as I am about to with RBM, and farm some cheap gold by doing practice arena battles over and over... you will have *_zero_* chance in vanilla of hearing if someone spawns behind you. AAAAAAH!! Anyway, 'bout to start that mod up now :D I have a feeling this is gonna feel like such a relief.

Grandfather was the smith, it's a high 80s or low 90s speed, 160ish length and not the maximum damage but still lethal and outswings almost everything...

48:16 I'm American, but my dad was born in England. And to this day you still have Republicans. That's not the same to what we consider in the United States, you know the GOP. Republicans in England are from the original word meaning, in other words a state without a monarch. And there are not a small percentage over there, you can actually find a lot of Republicans to this day. Many who are from families that have been Republicans since the British civil war, still feel a bit used, because of the compromise that ended up happening which retained the monarchy, admittedly without any powers. But it does not have that edge that you still find with those who identify with the Confederacy in some inaccurate atavistic way

On the game AI i would prefer to lose against a good AI that played fair than a awful algorithm that just cheats by spamming troops from nowhere ... late game the game algorithm just keeps sending armies they magic up from thin air ...
