fckn love you guys!!! seen y'all in August for my 12th time. you've inspired me for years and always continue to inspire me. especially as a musician myself he said the drums actually inspire him to play I felt that, I wanted a DW cuz of Jose, but I couldn't afford it so I got a Gretsch instead and I love it. man that set looks so good it's dripping with inspiration godamn incubus is such an underated band, a hidden gem in a way but we will always go to see Incubus when the come around. I try to travel, I actually met Kilmore in NH at a show he was in the arcade game room playing skii ball next to the show and It was my 11th show I had to say hi and get a picture with him shook his hand. thank you incubus

Once I started mic’ing my drums, I started having a whole new appreciation for the Tetris act of mic placement. Though he didn’t discuss it in the video, it was fun to look at where he puts his mics. He has one under his ride pointing up. I might try that.

Awesome drumset. I play a lot of Zildjian with a vintage Sabian ride, but more and more I dig the HHX sound. And the shallow toms are a revelation. Anyone who ever tried to play their toms both low and flat know that once you hit bass drum, you've reached your limit. Those shallow toms would never run it to that limit. Awesome.

Endorses DW, but uses a different company snare? I guess because thier snares aren't good enough. Endorses Sabian, but is not sure about some of the models he uses? Maybe he'd remember them better if they actually charged him? When making sounds is your living, you should know all your tools. This video makes him seem ungrateful.

How many drummers use a different snare to their kit, at least 90%. You find a snare you like, you keep using regardless of who sends you free stuff. And when you have as many cymbals as he has you're not going to remember every product name when they're all so similar. Besides, the one he forgets is the china which doesn't have a special name. It's just an 18" china, that's it.
