Test cricket is the toughest format of the game by distance but if you are technically solid and don't have any major weakness then you will certainly succeed which is why I feel that only if Virat did not have such huge weakness of "lust" for outside off stump balls, his average would have never fallen below 50(which is about 47 now) after reaching 55 overall average in 2019 because his temperament and technique other than that is still very good.
