The section where she is stabbing herself with the swords is really cool imagery in itself since Melanie has a huge interest in Tarot Readings. In this case, it would be the 10 of swords, which represents the inevitable end of something. Which makes sense when you think about her break from her former self and into new beginnings. Embracing the change that was bound to happen sooner or later. Though the older self is dead, a part of it lives in you from past experiences that help shape you as a person. I feel it's only fitting she chooses her own destiny ~ also great reaction. I'll definitely check out your music!

fun fact: all three of her albums loop. they tell the story of the life of her character, crybaby, and what she goes through. they loop, one connecting to the next and the last song (3rd album) connecting to the first song (1st album) indicating she’s had many lives before this and she’ll continue to have them. she describes this in her movie k12 :)

the costume is based on a faerie style and the butterfly wings are based on metamorphosis, metamorphosis is evolving and thats what caterpillars do when they are ready to turn into a butterfly thats why she has butterfly wings when she came out of crybabys heart. portals is based on life and death crybaby evolved into a creature with 4 eyes and 4 ears that are combined, i theorize that angelita (a character from a film that she wrote and directed) is the top eyes and top ears of the creature crybaby has evolved into and crybabys eyes are the bottom eyes and bottom ears, in the film that she made crybaby and angelita was talking about their past lifes they both said they could be conjoined twins and thats why i think that they predicted crybabys new era

awh, that’s such a hard question bc i put so much work & love into each and every one of them & they all feel like my babies 😁 i love the ‘stupid for your love’ one i released this year, ‘dreamhouse’ was very fun to shoot, as well as ‘Tax Deductible’, which is my first big production. ‘lovebreak’ was also an awesome experience and i notice that tho it’s the smallest production I’ve done, it seems to be a favorite for many. I’ve been watching and loving Melanie since she first appeared and I think it was America’s got talent with her to and her big gap between her front teeth. I think she is a stunning looking girl with such amazing talent. It’s so hard for me to watch this because you look so odd and unusual and other worldly, I still love the production but I find it difficult to focus on her face. It’s very creepy which I guess is the intent.
