Very clear and powerful message that Australia needs.

So refreshing to hear potential candidates who are not afraid to speak their mind. All the best Wade!

It's true that Ann Aly hasn't been heard publicly speaking up for the Palestinians. Senator Fatima Payman can tell us what happens when a Labor parliamentarian does that. But I think it's better to have Ann Aly and Ed Husic inside the government rather than not have anybody. They're not bad people and their presence is better than their absence. If I were in Cowan I'd have difficulty voting for Mr Wade _against_ Ms Aly but fortunately there's the option of voting Wade [1], Aly [2].

It's not that they are bad people. But there is a problem with a system that doesn't allow good people, in position of power, to speak what is truthful and just. That system doesn't have to remain if people voted for those who meet their values.

Wade for future Prime Minister

Independent members can't become Prime Minister but in a Parliament where the governing party/parties lack a majority a diligent Independent member can be very influential.

@I know, you for that though tho 😭!!

@@_abdulrahmansh_ InshāAllāh in the elections next year a few more independent candidates may take seats from the two major parties. Then the government will lack a majority and will have to negotiate its path with the independent members and the Greens. We may see some more favourable policies then. 🤲🏽
