Cringe! In a way, it's refreshing because it's unapologetically elitist; you're not even pretending otherwise. But overall, it's just a bad episode of word salad. Liberal is one of those words that has no meaning because in different contexts mean different things, e.g. economically liberal here in Indo is really conservative in the US. I just don't think it's a good topic to discuss for half an hour without really narrowing the topic. And, Indah, you're not a progressive. The girl who called you a bigot is a progressive. Liberals--the classical liberals and not the ones Newt Gingrich shamed in the 90s and now call themselves progressives--like to complain about the progressive's excess; your classmate is a byproduct of such. You're not a libertarian either. Bagus is right, libertarian is quite specific about what they want. Although he's wrong about the IRS. Rand Paul and his dad, Ron Paul are the two most famous libertarians in the US, and both want to abolish the IRS. I don't think that's what you want. My take, you're socially moderate. By CA standard and your age, you're a moderate. And from what I heard in this podcast, you're fiscally conservative(a lot looser term than libertarian). In politics, we usually call you a California Republican. If you live in the red states, 20-30 years ago, you'd be called Reagan Democrats. Right now, you're a moderate or independent. The last 10 minutes on nationalism is a lot more interesting, but...again word salad, jargons, etc. It's really a missed opportunity of talking about soft power. China is not really the model to follow. They're too big and will be too powerful; something that we can't really emulate in terms of going out there. You could have talked about Korea. Perhaps, even about Thailand. Alas...

Indah, if you keep producing such high-quality content, this channel has immense potential to grow! As a fellow lecturer, I fully agree with Dr. Bagus's thoughts on universities as safe spaces. They should be environments where individuals feel free to explore their ideas, even on controversial topics, without fear of their opinions being labeled as dangerous simply for thinking critically.

When Prof Bagus says, "(Linguistically)...That's why Indonesian is very funny." It represents my scientific 'revenge' to her. Pin pointly when in her face on face to Cinta Laura in podcast she slammed Bahasa Indonesia to have poverty in diction. Well, Bahasa has a better genome than English who's termed as International Lang' or Lingua Franca bla bla bla...

Haiz, nowadays podcast is weird, u speak hi talk, but the attitude and ethique all wrong, when someone speak in dine table, it should be short, and just asking simple things, u put podcast table to eating show, and somebody keep talking, another guy keep buzy eating, u post it wide, considered u want to be known what the talks by others, crab
