Finally listened through. I like your conversations with Arif, many salient points get made. Also really nice touch to have callers at the end, as that often gives opportunity to dispel myths, such as the common myth of it being so peaceful in the past (lol, as if the Ottomans became an empire through rainbow-egalitarianism)

Good analogy of Sinwar as/of the psychopath with the world's permission. If he lived in the USA he would be caught as a serial killer. Absolutely.

You should watch the documentary from Prachyam about the BBC. Wherever they had their empire, they caused sadistic pain to the natives.

1:10:03 the funniest part of this story are these two verses: "And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said: 'Cry aloud; for he is a god; either he is musing, or he is gone aside, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.' And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with swords and lances, till the blood gushed out upon them."🤣 He is trying to mock them to show how ungodly their god is and they actually listen to his advice🤣

1:34:00. System of laws based on a system of values and logic is important for a civilisation. The problem the world has at this point in time is the UN, WEP, WHO etc who want to be the new global government are pushing a system of values that are not based on logic or science.

I think Rebecca is a bit extreme There must be a significant number of good people in gaza too. Besides what is the winning parameter for Israel in this war. Also, Israel image as the mad man in the middle East has returned but it's image as an law abiding country has eroded and in future this might not be helpful. I understand Israel or Rebecca perspective and i am kind of with them but Israel is doing many things that no other country in the world will do(in bad sense).

Good people, especially innocent kids are good but once radicalized, are they good?.. are they good people now doing really bad things still good? No one wants to go and deradicalize these born good folk turned bad but it needs to be done in some way, otherwise, the cycle continues like a sick perpetual death cult that no one wants near them for self-evident reasons.

Who elected Hamas in 2006? If they are radicalizing people and attacking other countries, those who supported them should take responsibility to address these issues. Yet, nothing is being done. Groups like Hamas and Hezbollah have unfortunately influenced some individuals in our country, leading to public support on TV channels in India. This isn’t just radicalizing Palestinians; it’s impacting communities worldwide. I stand with Israel for a better, more peaceful world, with the aim of eradicating radical groups. It’s like chemotherapy for cancer-sometimes, healthy cells are affected as well

No hinduism = hindutwa = nationalism.... The borders are defined within the vedas which are way older than the jewish state..... You were discussing such a important point with juveniles who know nothing and are sgreeing with everything u say since they domt know any better

Oldest Hindu scripture rig Veda goes back to 1500bce and pre dates Judaism as the oldest monotheistic faith. I’ll sum it up in one verse from the Vedas : "Truth is one, sages call it by various names." - Rig Veda 1.164.46.

@@Supremeleaderkimjongun0 since she's too busy to respond, I'll add on to ur points here for further clarity for her.... In Rig Veda, the most ancient work of Hindu seers, the word ‘Raashtram’ was used to describe the national identity of the people of the land called Bharatavarsha (which has well defined borders defined in the Vedas which also find references in the Mahabharata and other ancient texts of the contemporary periods). ‘Raashtram’ is a uniquely Indian concept for nationhood founded essentially on the spiritual foundations. Thus ‘Raashtram’ as an idea is a unifying and development-oriented (Abhyudayam) concept as against today’s concept of nation which has been a major source of political conflict and violence throughout last three centuries.

@@Bruh-jw2zeif the ex Muslim Indian guy had half as much knowledge on this topic like you or me the podcast would’ve actually been interesting. And to add on to ur point yes India gone by multiple names Hindustan, bharat even jumbudupiva which is what Ashoka the great called his mauryan empire. Largest dynasty in Indian history .
