While Govt is doing utmost to modrenise Railways , it is also duty of us citizens to take care of trains and railway property and use in a manner to not to cause any damage to trains . In addition Railways should have world class railway facilities to take care of repair . Also we need to choose attractive colors of trains . Western Countries are very good in choosing colors . We should also take help of foreign architects to design and build our cities . in addition the designing of housings could be learnt from UK . Uk can also teach us as to how to manage our traffic , speeds , bottlenecks , signages , traffic management vehicles , lights etc .

With reference to Railways, the full potential of semi high speed trains can't be leveraged untill we have speed upgraded tracks with fencing. We currently have 2nd Gen Vande Bharat Express (capable @ 180kmph), Tejas (Chair car capable @200 kmph), Tejas (sleeper) and normal AC LHB coaches (capable @160kmph) but are restricted under 130kmph. Completing DFCs should be the first step in realising the goal. Increase in average speed of trains can lead to huge saving in time.

Great progress in infrastructure but people's attitudes have not changed for the better. Lots of highway accidents with traffic coming on the wrong side, stray cattle, people on cycles or walking on the highway causing danger situation, reckless driving continues. Train cleanliness poor. All these need to be fixed over time through education and awareness. A renovated bridge fell and 130 people killed in Gujarat. A lot has to improve still in terms of quality. Will happen over time.

Why are these trains not exported to Europe, I see hyundai trains all around in Europe, we can surely beat hyundai in quality and reliability if not price😉. It's a huge opportunity for us in India. While the BJP-RSS has it's agenda of Hindi imposition and Hindutva, the good thing is that the PM has a vision and has his priorities right. We are an importer of Oil and with hardly any Petroleum reserves. But we are electricity surplus. We have to reduce our oil imports and make the switch to electricity to survive, otherwise the rupee will keep getting devalued against the dollar. Today at 82.4% electrified, we are way ahead of UK's 38% and China's 66% and only behind Switzerland and Sweden. Our priority has been electrification and for the right reasons.
