Reason behind the artificial leather is associated with religious belief of Mr Mahindra as he is a Hindu and hindu community never encouraged animal slaughter. A large portion of Indian people wouldn't purchase the car if it came with leather produced from cattle slaughter. Amazing review though. Hope to seeing more such reviews in future.

“The Prado is officially overpriced” not the Fortuner, that is simply not in the run. I am an owner and I absolutely agree with evverything you say. And I have driven many Toyotas. Its just such as usable, user friendly, economical as can be. And yes a cars status has never bothered me but I have to be honest, with this car I now realised that I was status conscience when driving that Prado, and even Hilux.

I have been extremely disappointed with my purchase. Every time I drive it I feel the "loose" steering. Just read up on the steering issue wit the 4Explor. There is an issue with the electric steering - making the steering feel loose when driving in the city.
