Indians know intuitively that the history imposed on us is not our history at all. It is the history of invaders glorifying their invasions. And yet, for over 70 years of independence, we Indians have not managed to cleanse the biases of the colonial imposition of history on us. Sanjeev Sanyal makes a case for telling Indian history the way it happened to us - from the perspective of Indians.
Shri Sanjeev Sanyal talks about the Bengal Volunteers who carried out several armed resistance led by Subhash Chandra Bose. He mentions how Netaji Subhash Bose had difficulty working with the Gandhian establishment and then formed a sub group called the Forward Bloc and re-established contacts with the old revolutionaries like Rash Behari Bose and Sachindra Nath Sanyal.

I am preparing and haven't stopped although i myself got disturbed initially by the narrative of the Marxist propagandists. But kept on looking for a version of History which didn't came up with their own biased interpretation rather presented facts as they were so I came across History books from the authors like RC Majumdar, Meenakshi Jain etc. and read them with great interest but I also read the fake Marxist version of History as well with keeping in mind their agenda. Although more needs to be done in Modern History which Sanjeev Sanyal ji is doing. For Civil Services Prelims Ancient & Medieval syllabus i am reading the book of Upinder Singh (she is the daughter of Manmohan Singh but her book quotes both the Nationalist and Marxist Historians while making an interpretation and she names the author in the bracket as to whose interpretation one is reading, and i am specially careful when i come across names like Romila Thapar, RS Sharma and others of the same group. Good thing is that she also quotes RC Majumdar, BN Mukherjee etc. too when making some interpretation). And in mains syllabus of Civil Services only Art and Architecture is important from Ancient & Medieval period but Modern History is a big topic in Mains syllabus. Thus i have invented a way for myself across it.

according to the British officially 2 type of tribes in India. 1.marsal tribes(Dogras, Garhwalis, Gujjars, etc) and non-martial tribes . the martial were those who would fight well, and at the beginning, they even fought British and then submitted to them, very brave, don't think that much, follow the order to the tee. non-martail were who did not fight much and submitted the earliest. unofficially they followed A third tribe. the "naughty tribe" these were the cream. they had their own fighting race, and intellectuals also who can take their own decisions and work on a grand plan. so these guys gave Britishers so much pain in where we all know. that they were unreliable for the British to control. they were not merely foot soldiers, not cannon fodders. so the British changed the education system of the India to deal with this "naughty boys" and break them forever. they were mostly found in Kasmir, in the south then madras and in Bengal. all 3 were were promoted to more Clark type jobs. less physical strength , less brain use, more reciting English and become the babus of English offices.

You need to remember that the last PM of Britain (Altee) when India got independence, the PM said it was the activities of Bose’s group activities who infiltrated into the Indian Sepoys is the main reason the British had to leave. Of course, they placed a safety net of method to corrupt Indian leaders so they can continue milking India as well as all Commonwealth countries. But Bose’s soldiers are almost wholly Tamils, Malayalees and Telegu people residing in Malaysia. So, it is the South Indians who eventually got India her independence.

@ Nivy Hydreich - I somehow managed to get the wood sample of Taj & I myself visited IITK & EPFL for its age-determination . It was around 1100 ( plus/minus )50 years . According to Taj Mahal , the proposed time -line is 1600+ . Thus the Scientific data ( of wood sample ) does not match with communists - paid - historians -timeline ( which is in 1600s ) ... You can also do the same test if you somehow get the Taj -sample . We cannot say if Taj Mahal was some Temple or whatever , but i conclusively can say - TAJ WAS NEVER BULIT IN 1600S ! I shared this evidence with AGM , DGM & GM of my Office but they warned - Gag order ! My point - Nationwide Scientific proofs should be taken & accepted as evidence . And anybody can give & upload that evidence without any " gag order / threat " .. Only Truth ( based upon Science & that experiment video must be uploaded online for everyone to watch ) can help us & save India & its future generations !

I am preparing for upsc currently ..and i cringe while reading the hindu. ...and other mandated textbooks..while are all anti Hindu..its all such a propaganda which really bothers me.... but i have decided once i clear this exam.... Main definitely in sab chizo ki pol kholungi...in public...then m sure there will be weight in my opinions.... So i have to clear this exam...we have to first get into the system and correct it from within.!!! 😑

Very informative and eye-opening talk! We are only taught the British laws/acts which they implemented in Bharat but never taught that those acts were in connections to revolutionary movements by Indians living overseas and their networks.

My humble request to Govt.Of India to rewrite the history of India. At present all the history written only for Gandhi and Nehuru which is not true. What wi be answering to our grand children for Netaji Bir sabarkar Bhagat sing Arabinda, Rashbihari bose. The great Khudiram Mohan singh.CRDas Binay Badal Dinesh. Bhagha Jatin.Masterda and all the fighter for our freedom.is it only nonviolence by Gandhi brought freedom. Rest are having no value?
