Seedhi baat ye hai ki we did not take our chances, yes we were robbed but we also missed 3-4 huge chances and we should have been 3-4 goals up. Going down to the root, there are 2 things that is hurting Indian football. One, lack of grassroot footballing system across the country. Two, the quality of the grassroot and junior football coaches. AIFF, along with the state football associations, is working on the first point. But, I don't see much work in the second part. Beleive me, the quality of the grassroot and junior coaches are so horrible that they don't even qualify to be called football coaches. At this age a grassroot and junior footballer develops muscle memory of football skills, but what they are learning in these coaching camps is nothing. AIFF needs to produce good coaches first.

According to me what I have seen till now is that , India really played well today against qatar compared to the other FIFA qualifiers matches. But they should have played like this way before in the other matches of the group. To be honest my dopamine level was at peak until the last 20 mins, untill that robbery goal was given . To be honest that one decision of "robbery" Is now overshadowing everything wrong at Indian football that should be talked about We were not robbed in these qualifiers 1. This was the easiest group we all know even with 6 points we could have been through yesterday with 1 win in 6 that bad the group was 2. Nobody stopped us from winning the Kuwait game at home and the 2 home games against 158 rank Afghanistan which was disgusting not able to score from open play in last 7 games 3. In the Kuwait home game Edmund should have been sent off and Kuwait probably deserved a penalty but nobody wishes to talk about that so we have had fair share of decisions go our way also 4. Even with that controversial goal we would have drawn the game we were not robbed off a win we were maybe robbed off a draw and Kuwait won their game anyway so our draw would not have mattered 5. I was really positive about Indian football I used to encourage watch games vs Aus then Asian Games Saudi Arabia and all that please watch them but since this AFC Asian cup it has been shambles STIMAC HAS TO LEAVE and I am not having that we played well against Qatar We played well against QATAR D TEAM and then also we lost, if we won then I don't care what the opponent is it should be celebrated but we need to up our expectations a bit, Qatar's first team what they can do to us we have seen in November at home this was Qatar D so I am not having we were so close against a WC team or Asian champions etc Yes when we were resolute against Australia I gave so much credit or even Saudi I was proud we defended like warriors but definitely not yesterday keeping every thing in mind This coach has to leave We cannot overshadow everything we have been saying for the last few months and now take it as if oh no that one goal robbed us NO IT DIDN'T We didn't qualify because of 1 point from 9 at home, 1 point from 6 against Afg, playing long balls not stringing 1-2 passes together, not because of this goal robbery which would not have mattered anyway since Kuwait won, at the death where did we look like scoring where did we fight again?
