According to a recent book 'The Discovery of Muziris' by @Anto George, Pattanam is not Muziris. Pattanam does not 'fit' the description of the location of Muziris as given in the Periplus and other Sangam literature. Instead, he proposes the present-day village of Munchirai as the location of ancient Muziris. This village is in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, just South of the border with Kerala. I have still not completed its reading. It is a fascinating and original book. In the map shown @ 04:52, the present-day town of Bharuch in Gujarat could be the location of the ancient port of Barygaza.

Great video exposure to hidden truths. Note Dr. Raj Vedan has explained how Indian ( Indic) Mongolian, Chinese and Siberian people's travelled across when they moved amongst Willy mammoths and settled from Alaska to Texas some 40,000 years ago. Also know that Indians sailed around South America some 9600 ursagobin Wooden Ships with 6/700 people and small pockets of them stayed back in various places. Like Columbia, Chilies, Peru, Brazil Mexico. The people's on all of South America are a mix of Ancient India and Spanish. In Peru and COLUMNIA you find lots of evidence of India like you find in Egypt. Whites have been hiding this info becoz it shows our ancestors 59 b3v6he most ancient people and civilisation in the world. White man did not know about gold and diamonds. Indians mined Copper in Zambia 45000 yrs ago. .keep up the good work. Consult with Praveen Mohan Dr Raj Vedan. Nilesh Oak The native Indians of America have a feature of ancient Indians. Muziris is kodungalloor or the near by areas. Basically it's an island stretching from chettuwa & ending around kottapuram area. All the major abrahamic religions birth place in india is also kodungalloor & also many ancient temples are also in this area. A huge flood changed the ports position.

So Vasco da gama did not find the sea route to India first then as mentioned in Indian and global history ?? Cheers 🥂

No. The Romans had contact with India much before the Portuguese.

@@upresins precisely the questions is why not reflect it correctly on Indian history records. The Cholas, Cheras and Pandyas had sea trade route on both side of the Indian peninsular let alone rule certai regions. The romans also recorded that the cholan fleets were 7 times larger then theirs. They used turtles to find sea routes and best timing to navigate the seas safely to avoid disastrous seasonal journeys. So why are these misinformation not corrected by the Indian historians and government in their school history books Cheers 🥂

No WEst Asia and Romans had contact with the Malabar coast from time immemorial. There were Jewish settlements in Kerala since the destruction of the First Temple in the Siege of Jerusalem (587 BCE). Greek, Roman, and Chinese ships came to Muziris utilizing the monsoon winds.
