I visited lingraj temple, puri, konark in dec 2023 and temperatures went below 9⁰C..freezing cold And temples are just mind mind blowing! How can they do such tallest temples with so much art and aesthetics 1000s of years ago..just crazy..and we lost thousands of such temples to invaders. I would like to add few points to konark temple. The main temple is actually destroyed and the front entrance is what you see there is left today. And that too, it is sealed with sand to protect its structure. You can visit puri temple to imagine how the konark temple will look like when it's constructed. I will highly recommend to visit puri temple. It should be a world wonder!
