The intransigence of Punjab to give water to water starved Haryana brothers is astounding! When Pakistan doesn’t respect Shimla agreement signed after 1971, takes up bilateral issues in international forums, continues terrorism, targeted killings, religious extremism , why is India eating time in this game of India water treaty ? Excess water flowing into Pakistan, Indus River included should be sued to green Thar, Kutch , setup new cities near border and solve other water problems.
