Indian guys don't criticise or give negative comments on India's export growth. It is due to past 60 years of inefficient corrupted Congress government the country suffered and that lack behind your so called comparisons such as China. If BJP under Modi's administration are to be in place very much earlier then the results will be very encouraging but look Indian guys within 10 years India is achieving such progress be positive and give your soul support to boost up the export trades and India's growth. You guys and your dependants are living in India be patriotic to the nation. We foreign Indian origins are very positive and encouraged the countrie's progress and growth. Let me paste another line from the same economic times article which you referred to. “Its share in global goods exports was 1.8 per cent in FY24, against an average of 1.7 per cent during FY16-FY20”. Our share in global merchandise exports is 1.8% which has increased a mere 0.1% from 2016 levels. 0.1% increase of share in global exports in 8 years. What an achievement👎🏼🙂

People adding nothing to the economy are talking about how our GDP is not growing fast enough. We are not an authoritarian nation, neither are we getting a boost like China did in 1900s from US. This growth will be more sustainable. 6.5% growth is crazy and we as citizens should be updating ourselves with the latest information in our fields and create employment in our nation. Stop crying "bhakts" and "godi" if your contribution to the economy is waking up and doing the bare minimum. What rate is your contribution to the country growing at? Individuals make the country and not the other way around. Things are changing, admittedly not fast enough, but they are. Stay positive, keep questioning the government, but not by calling names but pointing out meaningful statistics and focus on self growth. The country grows if you grow.

This makes no sense, and I even think that such remarks are trying to stir up conflict between China and India. In the number of AI papers in 2024, India ranked third in the world. Although it is far behind China, which ranked first, and the United States, which ranked second, the gap between India and other countries in the world is equally huge. Frankly speaking, it is self-inflicted for India to want to compete with China, the world is big enough.
