Green hydrogen is not just considered a fuel; electrolyzer technology is at the forefront of PV and wind energy business expansions. As the grid faces increasing imbalances, PV and wind manufacturers are finding new customers in green hydrogen producers. A key point to remember is that Europe is a leader in electrolyzer technology, and India is currently importing this technology from them. This is evident from partnerships like Reliance-Stiesdal (Denmark), GAIL-Cummins (USA), NTPC-SMEC (Australia), Indian Oil-Greenstat (Norway), L&T-(Maire-Italy and H2Carrier-Norway), and Nel's collaborations with many others. What is crucial in 2024 is securing adequate R&D funding to reduce the cost of electrolyzers through indigenous technology. Companies like DuPont have dominated the market with their Nafion membranes, and J&M have a stronghold on precious metals like Pt and Ir. It's time for us to focus on developing homegrown solutions

Can we cut imports of crude by producing Hydrogen? How much of Hydrogen do we require in order to meet all our energy demand in a year?

Green Hydrogen is a must to fight climate crisis. The gov is probably favoring grey hydrogen and petroleum to help Ambani and other petroleum giants.
