@@singularity3021 If the death/fertility rate stabilises, then what you are saying may happen. However, note that the Annual population growth is less than 1% in india ALREADY. The annual death rate in the meanwhile increased from 6% (per 1000) to 9% due to COVID. Fertility rate has dropped from 2.1% in 2021 to 1.9% in 2023-24. That's a very sharp drop. See what elon musk is saying about population growth. when it grows, it is exponential, when it falls, it is exponential. it's a steep drop. basically if you map out the last 30 years, india has one of the fastest FR decline of all major developing nations. in 1 decade don't be surprised if you see the music change. the math doesn't lie.
