This is probably the only interview i saw of Sanjeev Sir which tries to explore his personal side more. Nice to get a peak into his mind. We are all aware of much of his other views.

Sanyal was soft on Mohandas & Jawahar. Just a compulsion to being civilized. Though he will see, as we will all do, a positive approach , he will in private will say BC/MC on MKG, Nehru, and today's pathological morons of the Congress and Rahul Gandhi (a traitor of the highest kind) 😢

12:40 Getting freedom in 1921? Indians were not ready for democracy at that time. Just freedom without democracy would have ended in anarchy ! For 1857 coup, they tried to make the mayor of Delhi ( last Mogul) as their king. Princely states would have separated. Gandhi saw two opportunities in WWI 1) to create Indian army 2) to bring down Ottoman empire which inspiring kilaphat movement Gandhi wanted India to join World War One as he know that will make Indians fight together as one country and may necessitate a creation of Indian army. Gandhi made sure democracy was imbibed in the culture slowly and people came out of kingdom mindset. Gandhi had a good second order thinking

Gandhi wanted Indians to fight in WW1 because of he was ordered to do so. Is it so difficult? What is your logic for his support in WW2 ? His love for Jews ? 😂
@CyrusTheGreat-b3k3 ай бұрын
@@Shubham-by3sh second order thinking is not your strong point. Burma’s general ( Aan San suki father) went to Japan and with the help of Japan invaded Burma and got freedom for Japan. That was what he thought but Japanese took over Burma. And they were not democracy and ruled like thugs. That general went back to British and begged them to take it back from Japanese! You should know whom you are asking for help and what intention the other party has! So Gandhi supported democratic counties instead of dictators and kings. But in WW2 he dint ask Indians to fight for British.

@@CyrusTheGreat-b3k He was taking ORDERS you fool. ...man it's really that difficult. He was a obedient servant of the empire. You can justify it by countless ifs and buts but truth is he didn't really had any option. And please stop your democracy rant . He was such a champion of democracy we all already saw in Nehru vs Patel elections. 30 million killed in artificial famines in just a few years , you really think it was a noble empire.? Also Burma isn't India .

@@CyrusTheGreat-b3k Gandhi was taking British ORDERS period. You can justify it all you want with whatabouteries ...but truth us he had NO CHOICE. Never once his life he did something which harmed the British geopolitically or militarily. He was the foremost servant of the empire. And Burma is not India.

People villanise savarkar. So what's wrong with villanising gandhi. He isn't some kind of prophet like it has been perpetuated for 60 years
@doncorleone92973 ай бұрын
It's not like Gandhi was infallible, & he opened up himself for criticism & was his foremost critic, from where his biggest critics draw all their energy from. But the fact remains that he wasn't just another calculative politician wanting to consolidate his own power & legacy. Gandhi is a subject within himself, one may agree or disagree with his views but definitely a rich complex personality worth studying. Understanding Gandhi needs a certain maturity & temperament that is generally missing at a young age, & usually develops over time. Criticise & slander Nehru & his lineage & coterie all you want- they deserve it, especially Nehru who kept Gandhi as his symbol & front to save his ass from all future criticism. The kind of idiocy & utter stupidity, not even villainy, that Nehru committed to hold power, was the original sin of independent India. And we are suffering from it till date.
