Hello guys. In this video, I have covered every information related to entering Bhutan from India. We crossed the Bhutan border from India by road and every information related to immigration process at Jaigaon and documents required for entering Bhutan has been covered in this video.

I have also covered the other way of travelling to Bhutan by air or train in the video.

India to Bhutan by road -
.
We can enter Bhutan from India from Jaigaon, west bengal.
To reach jaigaon, one can take flight till Bagdogra from any part of country and then hire a taxi for 4 hours drive towards jaigaon.

Immigration process at jaigaon -
Office Timings - 6 AM To 8 PM, Monday - Saturday
.
Documents required -
- Passport with 6 months validity or Voter ID card
- Travel Insurance ( INR 600-1000)
- Sustainable development fee (1200 INR Per day)
Also, the guide is compulsory in Bhutan. ( Cost - INR 1500 per day)

The immigration process is easy. And also, if you are planning to explore Bhutan by your own vehicle, then the charges is INR 4000 Per day. Sounds, very expensive right?
Well, Bhutan is an expensive country to visit now even being a neighboring country to India.

Indeed a great initiative by you to travel with subscribers and create something together and unique in your channel.... A sense of togetherness and create a bonding. A really informative vlog .... Excited to see for the fun and memories you created along the way.... Yes it has become expensive to visit Bhutan after the reopening from Sep'22 but still other countries ( apart from Bangladesh and Maldives) have to pay $200 as SDF which is very expensive. I think there is a fall in the no of tourists visiting Bhutan as compared to earlier trends. Bhutan has introduced duty free gold inorder to attract tourist from India. Keep exploring and Happy travelling 🙏

I'm from Assam we have so many Bhutan border Gates through which we go to Bhutan very. It just takes one hour from Bongaigaon, Assam to reach Gelephu, Bhutan. And we have many more border Gates.

besides the daily rate. I heard from many of my bhutanese friends you need a freaking tour guide. I don't get it if you are staying in Taj hotel or a good 5 star hotel. why does the tour guide need to follow you. Only if you are going to tigers nest than it makes sense.

There was no rules before pandemic, Indians were free to travel in Bhutan 🇧🇹. But in 2019 some Indians disrespected our culture and religion, they climbed onto a Buddhist stupas. For Buddhist its the most disrespectful nature, and there was a outrage over the issue and then the rules were put into place so as to limit Indian tourists.
