I do remember when I reached Canada in 2011. I was a student like him and gone through so many hurdles, trials and tribulations to achieve whatever I have at the moment. Canada is not a paradise as you have told by your agency people/ Consultants. Canada is a beautiful country with nice people but we have to struggle alot to survive, not only in Canada but also all European and North American countries have the same thing. If you have a dedicated mind and positive thoughts Canada I'd for you and if not you are not fit for here. Canada is bit expensive except Alberta Province, ( They do provide free medical cards). You have to pay hefty amount as tax from your semi monthly/ bi weekly income You have to pay GST + HST for each and every purchase including exams fess too. In addition to these, the accommodation is quite expensive in almost all the provinces.

Number 6. If you have US visa or can get one, land in Detroit. Detroit Airport to Windsor is like 25 minutes by car while its 4 hours from Toronto. Also, you can get much cheaper flights to Detroit than the overpriced Toronto flights.

@Kunj Chauhan not really. If you have a stable job in Canada then it's a breeze. I gave interview few months back, when asked "why you want to go to US" many people replied "shopping, cheap flights, tourism" and they all got visas. For me the interviewer, looked at my F1 and H1 stamp and said "student in US, H1 and now Canadian PR". I said yes, snd she said visa approved. I fell in 2015 during skiing and broke my leg. My parents applied for US visa, they did not even have any financial documents. They told our son has another surgery next week. Visa officer didn't ask anything, visa approved. It would have been rejected if it was Canada, UK or Europe due to lack of funds.

Bro Air canada is not allowed to operate within India (domestic). so for your domestic travel you have to book any domestic airline. Now if you want to carry same baggage in domestic flight as your international flight, you have to book connecting flight which will allow you to carry 2 bags of 23 kgs otherwise normal flight only permit you for 30 kgs. I have booked Ahmedabad to Delhi via Vistara and then direct flight to canada with Air Canada.
