Check your email and spam folder. They will send you an acknowledgment. Otherwise, to avoid duplicate entries, you may prefer to fill it out manually after arrival. Lately, I have heard that a few people did not receive it.

Can you guide me on if I carry INR to Sri Lanka, what can be the rates? Or should I exchange in India itself and carry LKR to Sri Lanka? I am actually on a package tour and dont have much time, so I have to change my currency at the airport itself. So should I change them in India or at the Sri Lanka airport? (I am getting 3.02 LKR per Indian Rupee in India whilst the actual rate is 3.42)

I would recommend having a debit card with zero forex. But, since you don't have time carry USDs. You will probably get better rates.

Very informative vlog.. Thank you for your explanation I have some questions 1)How much INR should one carry if it is a 2 week travel to Srilanka. Also if one doesnt have USD, can we divide INR into some USD and some LKR. Are there places where only USD is accepted?Rates good? 2) How far is the Colombo bus stand from the airport..Is it better to travel by bus or tuktuks

Thanks for your questions! 1. For better exchange rates, it’s generally a good idea to carry USD. While you can convert INR as well, USD tends to offer better rates. However, keep in mind that the legal tender in Sri Lanka is LKR (Sri Lankan Rupee). USD is not widely accepted, and any places that do accept it may not be operating within legal guidelines. The legal tender is LKR. 2. The distance from Colombo Airport to the city center is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. If you’re carrying a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi or tuk-tuk(you can use pickme or uber) instead of a bus. Buses often have limited space and minimal legroom, which can be quite uncomfortable(as shown in the last chapter of this video). I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions.

You can use any international debit card. I use NiyoX mostly because it has zero forex markup. You can get a similar one if you travel frequently. You may opt for forex card as well. Mostly all of the leading banks offer single currency and multi currency forex card.

Very Informative! You mentioned using Bank of Ceylon ATM, so can you inform if there is any separate ATM fees or any markup fees for using the ATM. I am looking for the best ATM for Sri Lanka.

I was unable to find any ATM without fees. Most of them charge 300-500 LKR. Since, I use zero forex markup debit card, I never paid markup fees. Hope that helps.

Last Airport express bus is at 8.30 PM. Hence, Install PickMe or Uber and book a Cab or TukTuk… EXPRESS Bus service is from 5.30 AM till 8.30 PM
