Actually I have rented a tuktuk so we used that but you can grab a bus from dambulla bus depot (30 mins from sigriya). I am not sure about direct bus but you can get a bus to kandy and from there you can get a bus to nuwara eliya.

Hey, I have got the acknowledgement mail from evisa ie srilanka eta status, so wanted to confirm with you that is enough? Or since u mentioned we have to click on the arrival card aswell? Do they check that also?

Yes. It is better to fill the arrival card online only. Which will expedite your visa process. In the acknowledgement email you can find the link to fill it in bottom.
