I'd rather say he has great PR team. I used to be his admirer but not anymore. He has made travelling outstation extremely costly. There are more than 5 toll plazas within my house's 25 km radius. Toll charges are now higher than fuel cost. Moreover we are seeing the videos of road quality everyday. Roads collapsing, cars jumping etc. He call everyone a free loader whoever demands toll exemption but don't end this exemption for MPs and MLAs itself.

Furthermore, if there are multiple toll plazas near your house vicinity you can apply for a exemption with supporting documents and you can get a pass. Mind you the pass is for vehicle not for member

As for quality of life, the only difference between an Indian and someone in Europe is availability of health insurance for the working population and pensions. India has already reformed the pension system with the NPS thing. Health insurance, cheap housing are the only other major thing that needs to be fixed before businesses start booming. Currently people do not risk trying to create a company because they and their family would end up on the street if the business does not take off.

An Indian is nowhere close to European counterpart. 80% of Europeans don't survive on free govt ration and $20 in free monthly money. Things which are common in Europe like cars and iPhone are considered luxury in India. Jobs conditions for 90% of Indians is comparable to forced labor getting paid in peanuts. Walk in cities in India for a hour and observe struggles of people, then do the same in any European country. You'll observe the real difference in quality of life. Health insurance is fine, pensions are not sufficient to live a dignified life. You will live better life in old-age NGO houses than 1000 rs old-age pension by govt. I can keep on going. But i'll give you a moment to reflect.
