Nothing at all surprising about Darryl Mitchell smacking Indian bowling. He plays swing well, we saw in England but more importantly Mitchell plays spin superbly. Best part is he uses his feet which is exactly how overseas batters need to play in India to combat spin. Smith when he dominated in 2017 also used to come down frequently. See KP in 2012. Other approach of sweeping doesnt work on quick spinning or low bouncing wickets.

Before Shami got Kane's wicket, he dropped kane of Bumrah. Shami is in red hot form but Bumrah is the heart of pace attack. In Bumrah's absence Siraj perfomed better than Shami inspite of being a junior. Therefore Intially Siraj was preferred over Shami. But thank god Shami stepped up when we needed him most.

I suggest don’t pay too much attention to people’s comments. 90% of these people have to be good boys/girls in front of their parents and uncles and aunties…but on internet they find the freedom to release all that negativity pressed inside their tiny brain.

Second really stupid to say Kohli doesn’t perform in knockouts. He has a 50 in each T20 knockout game he has ever played. It’s just that Virat has t worked in ODI but same mentality is needed on a big stage.

@@rakeshbarman3486 elite is a big big word; few are elites Ricky Ponting, Kohli Sachin, Lara, Viv, ABD, Babar is a good batsman but he is no more young if you think 29 is young 😂 Kohli played 183* when he was 23 against Pak in Asia cup; tore apart Malinga in 24. Sachin played Waq, Wasim in 16; tore apart bowling attacks at will from 19-35; peak Sachin 21-32 was something else; Viv did the same in 24-25; ABD ,Lara and Ponting did the same in 23-26. Not in ICC tournaments. Only in ICC odi tournaments. Kohli has actually a very good record in T20 WCs knockouts. Not to mention 2 back to back player of the tournament in 2014 and 16 t20 WCs. Kohli is GOAT because he is a global athelete. No other cricket player has this status in the history of the game.
