Even after losing 4 early wickets, our players stayed calm and played according to the situation. Never looked in hurry becoz they were able to score at around 7 per over and only one or two good partnerships would make it for us. Pakistan were lucky to get Yuvi's wicket. After that there was no big threat from Pak bowlers and the pitch was a batting beauty. Dravid and Kaif played superbly, just finding the gaps without any unnecessary risk. The rest is history !!!! I was lucky to witness such a fantastic victory on tele-screen.

The Indian team at this time was not just a team but an emotion. Legends like Sachin, Sehwag, Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman, Yuvi, Kaif, Nehra, Zaheer, Bhajji, Irfan, Balaji, Agarkar. Powar was also a good player. He wasn't a legend back then but he sure had some valuable contributions to the team both through bowling and batting.

I remember that day , 94/4 we thought india loss the game and the series ( before this match india won 1 and Pakistan 2 ) but Rahul Dravid played an exceptional innings and made it 2-2 and india also won the last match of the series and won the series as well

Indian team success in 2002 Netwest, World Cup 2003 till final...and many other series during the 2003-04 goes to good solid no 5-6-7... but one thing to notice all 5-6-7 were proper batsman.. good proper batsman Dravid.. Kaif and Yuvraj use to hit good proper shots not the sloggers we have today sorry dotn wnat to make fun ( all these so said mr 360 and mr 480) ... and that help them to build long partnership when chips were down ... In long series any team will have moments when ur top order will fail and than they come handy thats why i have lil hope this world cup 2023 with India..
