Nato member hone ka bahut benefit hai. Turkey is a part of nato defence manufacturing and supply chain. Turkey ko kafi parts ka direct access hai. Indian ko mostly sabhi required systems kudh banane hai. Aur saath me dono programs me farak bahut hai India prototypes final stage me banata hai jisme sabhi required system hote hai, turkey hr stage pe ek prototype banayga abhi jo banaya hai wo sirf flight controls ke saath hai aur koi technology nahi hai usme. Defence programs are complicated comparatively video banana bahut easy hai.

You never fail while you are researching about something... plus big thing is that turkey and amca development approach is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT... had the airforce and govt show swiftness regarding engines and had the private companies agreed for the spf model then surely the amca prototype 1 would have been ready by the next year or so.. also the service induction of kaan and amca is almost same. 5th Gen is too much expensive..India needs large no. of squadrons to fight a two front war that's why India opter for 4 and 4.5 gen fighters.India needs immediate replacement of Mig 21, Jaguar, Mirage..so India opted for bulk production of Tejas as immediate measure rather than 5 gen AMCA.
