2024 Hyundai Alcazar has seen several improvements over its previous model as it gets tons of new features and a new design language. Whether you should buy its 4+2, 5+2 or Creta, we share our opinion in our first drive video. The model we tested gets a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, GDI turbocharged engine that also does its duty in the Creta.

Very well explained, I own the old 2.0 alcazar, 6 seater, the space inside was very well explained, seating three tall passengers behind each other is possible but requires bit adjustment, which is still better than cars like xuv700 which has fixed seats, car has been reliable ample powerful and feels premium, no regrets.

Alcazar 6 seater is meant for 4 adults and 1 or 2 kids. That's what most families need in real life. Husband wife taking fromt 2 seats, 2 parents taking middle two rows. 1 or 2 kids taking last row which is perfect for kids. It's a perfect budget car for a family if only Hyundai gets a good safety rating

Creta makes much more sense under 20 lacs, Alcazar only makes sense if you get the rear ventilated seats version

Creta is costly, but Alcazar is value for money with extra space at almost same price. Feels more luxurious than Creta.

Not almost same price.. you will have 2 lacs difference if taking that in gurgaon… which is a big difference.. infact if u add 2 more lac then u get xuv 700 ax7 L…

Haven’t heard any issues lately especially after they made some changes to its tuning which was causing the heat.

I am owner of pre facelift , dct is performing well in Bengaluru traffic. Also part of alcazar group, where genuine owners are there. Last 1 yr, heard 2-3 cases of overheating message but car never stopped. Reason was 1 hr drive for 2km

Creta is a better option. Creta S(O) IVT petrol is priced around Rs 18-18.50 lakh depending on the state. Alcazar with captain seat is a little more expensive and is Rs 5-6 lakh more expensive than the SO version. Spending Rs 24-25 lakh on Alcazar is not Intelligence.

Alcazar is not a proper 6/7 seater SUV. Third row is very tight and strictly for kids. I think this is not a practical 6/7 seater SUV. In my opinion buy either 5 seater creta or go for 7 seater Innova.
