One of the best things about Har Ki Dun - Ruinsara Tal Trek is that it can be done almost eight months in a year. This video outlines which are those eight months, and what you can expect in that time.
Starting in spring, you can trek through the summer until late June. Then the Govind Pashu Vihar Sanctuary closes for about three months. Thereafter, the trekking season resumes in autumn and continues till mid-winter. After that, the heavy snow-laden trail makes it impossible to trek for the rest of the winter until later in spring.

You should try Brahmatal trek and Munal Top. I went to Brahmatal this 1st feb 2021 but could not find any snow but it we got 3 days of snow fall in Munal Top.

Hi, currently we don't start the trek from Taluka. We start from Dhatmer which is slightly ahead of Taluka. And then trek to Gangaad from there. It usually takes the same amount of time from both the start points which is six days.

@@shivanshusharma8512 trekking is good in all seasons in my personal view. It depends on what you are looking out for. If you need snow-packed mountains select December to early Jan to travel.
