Sharp sounds are softened and there are sounds like tongue clicks in Indian accent which makes it great for asmr :)

There's a very large Punjabi community where I live in California and I've always had a thing for the way people with Indian accents pronounce consonants, especially Ds and Ts. Punjabi and Hindi are both part of that Indo-Aryan group of languages in the Indo-European language family, so the accents are probably owed to the large number of more subtle consonant letters that exist. I studied a semester of Punjabi and there some hard and soft Ts that I struggled with differentiating a little bit.

Would love to officially study punjabi one day too. I've just picked up everything through family really, so there's lots of words and phrases that are missing in my knowledge. That's great that you have a big punjabi community where you live. California in general does have a big punjabi and Sikh community.

One thing I always hear while listening to the Indian English accent is the “W” sound replaced the “V” sound. You don’t use it here - is that “Wideo” instead of “Video” sound NOT part of the accent?
