Just to add a few points: 1. To get the commercial pilot, license the training cost is approximately 40 Lakhs in India. Once you get the CPL, you are authorized to fly an aircraft and earn money for doing that. However if you wish to join an airline, then you need to undergo something called type-rating which costs around 15 Lakhs. Post getting an airline job, you may have to pay the airline some training cost which is approximately 10 Lakhs. So the total cost comes out to be 65 Lakhs at least. In military everything is free. Even when you retire from fauj and join some airline, all the training and type rating costs are taken care of by the company. 2. Airline flying is monotonous and routine because it is designed for the safety and comfort of passengers. Fighter flying is way more fun because it is designed for combat and hence involves aerobatic maneuvers. Also, it requires more fitness, faster reflex actions and higher degree of situational awareness to fly those high performance jets. 3. An IAF pilot has a fixed schedule starting from early-morning briefings to flying in the day and then administrative or non-flying duties in the afternoon. And sometimes there's night flying too. Yes, they have to be alert and they might have to scramble in case there's some emergency. Airline pilots have no schedule. Sometimes you might be waking up at 2 AM for your 5 AM flight whereas sometimes you might be going to sleep at 2 AM after landing at 10 PM. Secondly, 5 days flying and 2 days off is not always the case. Sometimes, it is 6 days on and 1 day off. Third, you are mostly away from family and do not get leaves on Holi, Diwali or any other festivals because flying never stops. Both the professions have their pros and cons. It's about personal preferences and individual capabilities on the basis of which one must decide which career path to choose.

Railway loco pilot is also good job sir physics ka knowledge is compulsory psychometric test. Central government job now b tech student and diploma engineer student are joining railway loco pilot job
